Pork Butt injection question

Thought I'd get some opinions from the experts around here.

On Sunday I'm going to smoke a pork butt and thought I'd try my first ever injection

On a whim, I picked up a bottle of Stubbs Pork Marinade....I thought it would make a great injection. My question is: Should I inject it as is? Or is it something I should cut with water or apple juice?

Any input is welcome
 
I would go as is.. Maybe run it thru a blender if it has a lot of chunks.
No expert here , just a backyard BBQ Carpenter.:)

Grant, I use Stubbs religiously for injection. I use as is, no dilution. The only thing I would recommend is strain it so you can get it in the injector. And what's left over from straining put on the butt. I strain into a Pyrex Measuring Cup and dump the strained marinade into a tall shot glass. Don't overdo the injection. Depending on the size of the butt I only inject on average 5 to 6 places, but that is just me. Experiment!

Thanks for the tip....next question: You mentioned not overdoing it....About how much should I be using?
