Pork Butt in New Jersey

I am at my brother-in-law's house in New Jersey. He decided to take the plunge and buy the WSM. Is there anyone around here who can tell me the best place to buy pork butt in the Ridgewood area? Thanks -

I live in central NJ, and usually get mine at Costco.

Though I also get then in ShopRite, Acme, and Pathmark.

Should be 1 or more of those in the area.

In my area, it is more common to find the picnic cuts in the supermarkets.

My experience is pretty much the same, mostly picnic. Shoprite (Hillsdale and Pearl River are close to me) almost always has picnic in the meat case, you need to ask for Butt and get to it before they saw it up. BJ's (Paramus and Palisades Mall) is the same, picnic in the case. Picnics at both BJ's and Shoprite are usually $.99/pound. A&P (Woodcliff Lake) is not as good. I sometimes see picnic there but they ask $1.50 or more and it is usually 10% enhanced. Teach your bro-in-law to watch out for the enhanced meats.

Just for other S. Jerseyites info, the BJ's in Mays Landing always has the 2-Butt CryoPacs when I'm there.
