Plan for turkey day?

Every year I get to do turkey because no one else will volunteer? :ROFLMAO: My plan this year was to get a boneless breast and thighs but only found the Butterball boneless breast roast. o_O Still looking for the thighs. My plan is to brine the thighs and inject Ghee into the breast since it's supposed to be brined already. I would appreciate any suggestions and hopefully will remember to take pictures on turkey day. Thanks in advance.
 
I’m hearing that there will be plenty of whole turkeys but parts will be hard to get so my new plan is 2 Butterball white meat roasts and 3 Butterball white and dark meat roasts with a Honey Baked ham for non turkey people. It will be easier for me hopefully🤞
 
Already cooked the turkey. Sectioned it out, vacuum sealed and in the freezer. Wife will do a dessert ahead of time, then mashed taters, bourbon sweet taters and a green salad and I'll do my sausage/cornbread dressing and heat the bagged turkey in a big pot of simmering water the day of. Makes for a lot less hassle and more time to visit with family. Just oldest daughter, her hubby and eldest son, so not a big crowd.
 
I’ll roti two turkey breasts on the Yoder injected with Tonys and meat church on the skin spritzed with butter every thirty minutes. Sweet potato yum yum, cornbread dressin(not stuffing🙃), baked mac&cheese, homemade cheesecake cinnamon rolls and two layer pumpkin pie. I have a daughter a baker and boy she kills the desserts! 13 of us with kids grandkids and all. Can’t hardly wait.

It might be brisket here, we have all decided that doing a turkey is a waste of time. That’s right none of us seem to give a hoot in Hades about turkey!
Shoo fly pie for dessert, DiL is doing Mac and Cheese (she claimed to have found a FABULOUS recipe! So I looked at her and said, great YOU can do that!) unsure about tubers this year, probably mashed, might try a new “Molten” garlic butter sweets recipe, Brussels sprouts, maybe corn for those who won’t eat green things!
