Pizza tutorial?

Is there an easy to follow, beginners pizza tutorial available? WSM or kettle, either way. I'd like to try my hand.
 
I started out with chimney bricks like the BBQ pitboys. Works decent. And its cheap.

But i Prefer a Pizza stone.
 
If you want to try it without investing any money in a pizza stone (the cheap ones don't last) here is how I do it.

I use a full chimney of lump and pile it on one half of the grill. I roll the dough out very thin in a rectangular shape and oil up both side with olive oil. Take the dough and put it right on the grates on the indirect side. Let it cook a few minutes until the side down gets crispy. Take the dough off the grill and put your sauce, toppings and cheese on the cooked side of the dough. Put it back on the grill and cook until done.

The nice thing about cooking the dough like this is you end up cooking both sides of the crust making it really crispy. Same method can work also with a stone.
 
Shaun, go buy unglazed quarry tile. I lay them on my grate .Just as good as a stone but a heck of a lot cheaper
 
This thread is right on time! I'm doing two pies tomorrow night and I'm going to use your method, Don! My prior results of pizza on the performer have been hit or miss, but I plan on hitting tomorrow night for the kids! Two pepperoni pizzas coming up!
 
Since I use a pizza screen and the dough does not sit directly on the tile,I think any pb effect would be minimal at best.
