Pig Roast

Hello,

A friend of mine is doing a pig roast in a couple weeks and is planning on buying about a 50-60lb hog. He has a fire pit in his back yard and wants to do the hog on a rottiserie on the fire pit. Anybody have any thoughts on how to make a cheap rottiserie or buy an inexpensive one. I've never done or even been to a pig roast before, so can't wait to see how it turns out. Thanks.

My understanding is that you can rent large rotisseries. Your friend might want to check out the local yellow pages before buying one.
