Excellent Pulled Pork & ABT's. What charcoal are you using? A 22 wsm full charcoal ring w/ k-blue should easily get you more than 9 hours using the Minion method.
Thanks Morgan! Pools new to them! Although there getting very interested in it! I'm sure soon enough they'll be hard to get out of it!Tim it all looks great!! Love your cooking area although I have no idea how I would keep the dogs out of the pool!! 43...34 nope they be swimming all day!!
Thanks John!Everything looks fantastic!!
Thanks Dave! There something else!food looks great, its probably best to keep the "helpers" on watch!

Thanks Andy!Everything looks great
Thanks Tony! Full ring of blue and 3 chunks of Pecan and minion method lasted 9.5 hours temps started dropping pretty fast! Added couple dozen more coals. No water or sauce.Pork looks good Tim... I have done a 13 hour cook with kingsford. Never had to add but maybe its the weather here in Southern California. I do use the water pan.
Yep, me to Chad! You & I are in the same boat. I wondered that also here - http://tvwbb.com/showthread.php?38132-Long-smoke-question
Thanks Neil!Nice pics Tim. Thanks.
Ted, K-Blue, full ring, minion method with 12 lit coals. No water and no saucer. Going to have to play with it more. Saucer will go in for the next cook! Held steady temps for 9.5 hours with only 1 adjustment!Excellent Pulled Pork & ABT's. What charcoal are you using? A 22 wsm full charcoal ring w/ k-blue should easily get you more than 9 hours using the Minion method.
Thanks Jim! Must be the cold weather? Not sure, one 11lb bag of blue was used during the cook.Tim - excellent cook - love the doggies, the pool AND the food looks awesome!!! 9 hours does seem a little light for a full ring. I've gone 14 hours+ one one rings of Stubb's, but with warmer temps. Each cook and each bag of fuel seems to vary though.
Thanks Mike!Fantastic Food, Pics and Pups! I too am not seeing why you needed to add coal after only 9 hours. I can go 14 with a full ring if need be in my 18.5 @ 250* F. I'm using water in the pan too. Whatever you did, looks like it works Great! The only thing I can think of with low wind and good OAT's is removing the lid too often.
Thanks Rolf!Definition of happiness..........
