@Josh Dekubber and @Jon Tofte, what do your burners look like from the side, as I pictured mine?
On your broilmasterWhat burner of mine are you asking about?
Strange how different mine is. No holes, just a thin gap. InterestingI don't have a picture of the left side burner, but as I recall it was a typical bow-tie stainless burner, and it did have that stainless heat shield underneath. Similar to this:

This is the "half-burner" for the right 'oven' side that I posted before. This lets you see the side view with its shield:

My P4 or my G2000?On your broilmaster
G2000? - Did you go for it, Josh?!!!!My P4 or my G2000?
You'll have to see if any gas is escaping from those gaps in your burners. It almost looks like they have separated at a seam, but I don't know how it was supposed to be in the first place.Strange how different mine is. No holes, just a thin gap. Interesting
I was thinking the p4, but did you grab the 2000?!My P4 or my G2000?
It appears that's how it was made. There are screws holding the 2 halves togetherYou'll have to see if any gas is escaping from those gaps in your burners. It almost looks like they have separated at a seam, but I don't know how it was supposed to be in the first place.
While you won't find a thermometer EXACTLY like that golden oldie, you CAN still buy white square thermometers that will at least look close:It's alive! I didn't clean the burners at all. I hooked up the manual regulator that I was using on my traveler just to see if had a chance. It throws some SERIOUS heat. I do not think the thermometer on the grill side is accurate as it was only saying 400 but I could feel the heat from 3 feet away

Yeah, that one is a great deal and looks closer to the original!
It looks VERY close, I'll let you know when they arrive lolYeah, that one is a great deal and looks closer to the original!
I just ordered 4 of them and with tax and shipping it was just under $20. I think they may even be NOS Broilmaster temp gaugesYeah, that one is a great deal and looks closer to the original!
I'm not even sure if I'll need to use them. Mine look to be in pretty good shape but for that price I wouldn't mind having some on hand.I am going to look at my stash first and may order a few as well.
Backups are niceI'm not even sure if I'll need to use them. Mine look to be in pretty good shape but for that price I wouldn't mind having some on hand.
