Hi everyone, I bought a new performer grill from H.D about a month ago,it produces awsome food and is a pleasure to use. My problem is that I have a chip in the lid shy of two inches and I called weber as per H.Ds instructions and they told me to get them the # from the vent. I got that (it is AU) and called back, they say they require the whole ser# but can't tell me where it is, AU is all I can find.Does anyone know where the rest of the numbers may be or if there is indeed any other numbers.

Mine is on a sticker on the back side of the grill frame.

Do you still have the instruction manual that came with it? it should have your serial # on the front cover...make sure to register your grill so in case anything else happens they have you on file for the warranty...
