I'd say only easier because there is less to it. Cleanup effort is similar though. At least that's my experience.

Wonderful job! I always found the kettles hard because they need a razor blade and it is tough to do some of the round parts without scratching. How do you do yours?

I feel like the cooked on carbon comes off the kettles better. And the grease/gunk buildup isn’t as thick.
