Checked out the website, and I'm intrigued. Looks like they have a new store in San Diego, so I will check it out. Looking at ingredients for some of their blends: does anyone know what they mean by "natural smoke flavor" or "hickory smoke" as an ingredient? I'm not a fan of liquid smoke, but I can't believe that's what they're using.

I think the Chicago Steak has this, can't remember off the top of my head. It's more like a smoked salt or smoked pepper taste on top of Montreal Steak. Great stuff.

The bulk packages are a fantastic deal if you don't need jars. We've been hoarding the McCormick glass jars and refilling, and I have to say Penzey's stuff is better and much cheaper.
 
When you Ladies and Gentlemen buy the chili powder for your rub's do you purchase the regular or the medium heat powder? Thanks
