Github would be the place to get all the info about the heatermeter from getting the pcb made, buying the components from mouser and how to put it all together.
A couple threads down, Peter is selling a 4.1 pcb. You could get one of those, or you if you buy from OSH they will require a minimum of 3 boards for about 40 or so. You could always sell, like others, the extras 2 you may not need.
In a couple of weeks, or sooner, version 4.2 will be available to build, which has a lot of improvements and if you are able to solder smd parts, you can use thermocouples for the pit
