I cut up a whole fryer chicken and brined in buttermilk for 7-8 hours with SP, no pictures of that since it's not very attractive, ha! I then took chicken pieces out of buttermilk put on paper towels and left on the counter to get the chill off, then rolled in Panko and fired up kettle with mix of KBB and hard word briquettes.

Added some potatoes which I started in the micorwave, foiled and put on the grill.

After 45 minutes, at what I figuring to be 400-425 with wide open vents I pulled chicken

And baked potato with butter, sour cream, salsa and guacamole

First time I did buttermilk brine and it was a great taste and texture, very tender and no over powering taste since my family likes thing pretty plain tasting. :)

Love panko coating , but I haven't tried the buttermilk brine. That looks excellent.
