We are working on an off white Weber q. It has some scratches and we are thinking about repainting. What kind of paint would be best to use? We want to keep it the ivory or off white color. image.jpg

Hi Heather, Rustoleum makes a high heat white. It would probably be kind of blah as white.

There are high heat paints at auto parts stores used on brake calipers and engine blocks and should be ok for your lid. Many vibrant colors.

others will weigh in as plenty of lids have been repainted on this site.

Yah, if you have to repaint it, I would definitely go with a different color. Don't discount the matte high heat colors either. If you top coat the matte colors with the high heat gloss clear coat, it instantly becomes gloss.
