Outdoor tent/canopy suggestions

I am looking to replace a cheaper end canopy I had over my grills and smokers (was 12x12 I believe) and looking for a replacement. It sits on the side of my garage on pavement. I have sandbags to keep it in place.

I am looking for something durable and won't show dirt, if possible (potentially a black color). Sticks and branches often fall from the trees in the forest next to my driveway, so I'm looking for something that won't rip easily like the last one did.

I've been looking at the EZ-UPs, but looking for suggestions for that line, also others I should consider. Not looking to spend more than $400 or so.

Thanks in advance!

Are you leaving it up all season?
I have a few friends that have the original EZ-Up and they are very well made but, they use them for art shows and get “cycled“ (up and down) weekly during the entire summer. I don’t put that kind of wear on one. Mine is a ”Patio something or other”. It’s great but, it gets maybe a dozen cycles a year.
See what various “outdoor” places have and look at the reviews, Cabela‘s is worth a look.

Sorry, I live in the Northeast, and it's usually up when it stops snowing (March/April) until right before it snows (November or December). So, most of the year.

We had a 10 x 10 canopy on our deck before replacing with a full blown sunroom. It had a steel frame that screwed to the deck and removable fabric. It made the south facing deck livable in the summer. November first I would remove the fabric and store it until April first. If I remember correctly the canopy was $600 and replacement fabric was $180 which lasted only 2-3 years. I didn't cook under it. It was more for the wife's house plants and sitting area.

Not sure how much sq footage of coverage you need but I use a 180 degree umbrella. Size I have is enough to provide a dry space for a performer and a jumbo Joe. Have thought about a retractable awning as well

Good luck

If you can, buy one with a metal roof ( standing seam)
I picked one up similar to this on clearance awhile back.

I think I paid a c note.
Mines on concrete its tapconed in place.

Do you have a link for this unit by any chance? It just seems a bit small for what I need. I also like to have some chairs / an extra table or so to put under it and it looks a little limited. I do like the idea of a hard roof though.

I bought it at Meijer about 5 or 6 years ago. (Meijer is like a Wallmart, but nicer.) It's 8' x 5'. Too small for what you want, but for me putting my performer and OTG, 22.5" WSM and a mastertouch it all fits.
I hit on it at the end of season sale when they were clearing out.
