Out of the box chips

Hello everyone,

Well I got my WSM today and when I unpackaged it, I found chips in the enamel on the mating edge of the charcoal bowl. Will this continue to chip?? Is it somthing I need to worry about or not??

Contact Weber and explain your situation, they should replace those parts that are chipped.

Weber Customer Service will definitely take care of this for free. Call 800-446-1071 anytime day or night.

The issue is not so much additional chipping as it is the possibility of rust. And don't feel bad, this happens more often than it should because of the packaging used by Weber.

In the meantime, fire it up and start cookin'.
