This is kind of funny, we have people all over the country but we can only get the local wood to our area.
We need to create some kind of wood network where we send our local wood around to eachother. In the northwest we have plenty of alder, cherry, apple, and grape vines (do people actually use these? I hear they are good but never see much mention of it)...
So how about a place where you can post what wood you need, and what you have, then you trade with another person who has the opposite situation as you? If I have apple, and need hickory. You need Apple but have hickory, we just box up some end send it to eachother.
Just an idea...
