I just picked up this 2009 One Touch Platinum for $35.00. While it's not in perfect condition and has a little rust on the legs overall I think I got a great deal. There is sure a learning curve with the lid though. I thought about using the Kettle Pizza with it that way I don't have the change the components on the Performer for pizza.















 
That is one heck of a deal! It even came with a cover? Wow. So the lid just kind of slides back? Seems like you would have to be careful when reaching for the handle to pull it back forward.
 
Nice score !!. The lid system looks somewhat similar to an oval grill that Kingsford put out. Takes awhile to get your muscle memory trained, but you'll get used to it soon enough. Congrats.

Yes the lid does slide back into the holder. It'll take some time getting used to that vs just lifting it. The cover makes the deal even sweeter!
 
I saw that also Michael but I dragged my feet. When I called him back couple of hours later you had already picked it up. I live 5 minutes from there if you ever want to get together let me know.
