Old School BBQ chicken

Sometimes you just want a couple pieces of the old school, BBQ sauce basted, grilled chicken. I brined these thighs a few hours in salt and Tony Chachere's. I cooked them over lump swaping direct to indirect with one knot of oak for some smoke. Brings back memories.

Yes. That good old crispy bbq chicken leg you always had at a cookout as a kid in the summertime! Corn on the cob and potato salad! Little kool aid to wash it down.....heaven on earth , brother.
