Nutribullet

Thanks Josh!!!!

"Adding Black Pepper to your smoothie has a positive effect on nutrient bioavailability as well. When you add black pepper to your meal, you increase the amount of nutrients absorbed into your bloodstream. Black pepper helps to stimulate hydrochloric acid in your stomach so you can better digest and absorb the foods you eat. That's just one small thing but those are the cool things I like learning through research."

I take turmeric supplement laced with black pepper as my understanding is it increases the effectiveness of using turmeric as a supplement
Absolutely! The active ingredient in Turmeric is Curcumin and yes it will be much better absorbed with a little pepper. This is true for other nutrient rich foods also.

I prefer to eat it in it's raw root form but taking it as a supplement is an easy way to make sure you're getting plenty

Turmeric is in the ginger family and similar looking except for its orangish color. Ginger is also good to eat for digestion health.

Oh, yeah we have an ethnic market in the area called Valli's. I don't go there often as they sell FAR FAR too much produce out of China. And while the name is Italian, it's far more focused on the Mexican population. They used to be far more focused on Italian and mostly west European countries but now it's hard to even shop there because you almost have to speak Spanish to do so. But, they sell fresh Turmeric. I've bought it from there. I'd buy ginger from there and garlic but it all is from China YUKKO. So, I've not been in there in ages. I used to love the place until they began changing their "focus" and dumping garbage produce on us
