I remember reading about the skyline here and how its limited? Not sure if anyone was looking but just incase. Does have a nice look to it.

Very good looking specimin. The unique condiment basket it still there and the lid doesn't even look like it has the Weber Fade. Yah, they are pretty rare and feature the Chicago Skyline on the lid. I think they were only sold for one, maybe two years and only at Sears stores.

I picked up this skyline yesterday. Unfortunately, the lid has a chip on it. From what I understand, there is no way to fix this. Is that correct?

Oh no, I don't flip. I have a Green Genesis 1000 I'm restoring that in good with. Once I get that Green SSP, I'll be set! Hah you should go for it.
