Appeared on the Uk site earlier today, also on the US website https://www.weber.com/US/en/wood-pellet/weber-smoque/weber-smoque/1500770.htmlNew pellet grill. Looks similar to the Searwood. It's not being Margaret marketed as Searing capable. I believe temps are 176-500. Heard the are some internal changes that sets it apart from the SW. $899 for the XL , $699 for the regular size.
That's a plus. I wonder the cost?Further, disposable, pre-cut foil liners, sold as a separate accessory, simplify cleanup while promoting airflow and smoke circulation.
180-500 temp range. Rep @ Weber that I've made buddies with since my SF issues and eventual SW purchase, told me he grilled burgers and brats on it and it came out great. I think the intention is to go after some of the lower entry market smokers use. Pit boss and Traeger5 year warranty and comes with two probes! No mention of temperature ranges.

You can't rotisserie with the Smoque.
Apparently can't use the full size griddle either. However, you could use the Weber "Crafted" griddle insert.
Not sure griddling is suited to a pellet grill, with the Crafted griddle, get much better results on the Genesis. I have the Crafted griddle for my Smokefire and temperature drops too rapidly with the lid open producing very uneven cooking temps over the cooking surface for me.
Have the full sized Genesis Griddle also and seems to hold temps much better, maybe due to the fact it covers the whole of the grill rather than two thirds of it like the Crafted one?
HD had the Woodrige Elite on the floor last week while I picked out a snowblower. Also seems Traeger is also getting on the more grill for less $$$ bandwagon with their new Woodridge
