Well it's time to retire the modified ECB. The wind knocked it down and beat it to crap so its time for an upgrade. I will say I enjoyed her and cooked many good meals on her!

Now that being said, just picked up this massive beauty! She is a beast!!! Can't wait to get her seasoned and for the inaugural cook.

I'm guessing you'll love the WSM. I've had a WSM for going on eight years, and I still feel the same every time I light it!

You will be thanking the wind for knocking over the ECB. I replaced my 3 year old ECB with a 22.5 and love the thing. The thing holds heat forever and has a ton of space. It is also easy to add water and charcoal if needed. There is very little tending required. As for seasoning, I would not do a dry run and season with meat on the smoker.
