Hey all!
I'm sure that it's already been discussed, but can anyone help me to understand how the heat diffuser rests on the bottom of the 32qt pot, after it's been cut out? I have a 12" metal pan for the heat diffuser. Also, how far down from the top of the pot do most people drill the hole for the top grate? I'm sorry that this has to be repeated, but I have everything to start a build and I want to do it right the first time! Pictures would be good too! Thanks to everyone who can help me!!
 
As Jason stated you are within the wrong forum. I am waiting on parts myself but will answer some for you and link to some posts where you can see some step by steps.

For the heat diffuser - depends on what you want to do. Some use bolts at the bottom, some use on the cut out bottom of the pot a 18.5" WSM Charcoal Grate modified to place it directly on the bottom of the pot.


Most people measure 4" down from the lip of the pot for the top rack.
