New side table!

I lost my “cookie sheet stand” when I lost the two drawers from the cabinet where the dishwasher was installed so, I came up with this with the help of my cabinet maker buddy.
I need to tweak it just a touch. Nice to have a friend like him!

Not for anything aside from a test run. We were down at the shop and, thought that we were doing something a little differently hence the notch, totally unnecessary as it turned out. I’ll go and set a cocktail on it shortly! The butcher block(big one) was a gift from my old parish priest when he moved and the new place didn’t need it, cabinetmaker just reglued some failures while he built the dishwasher cabinet. The smaller one is one I picked up at T.J. Max or Tuesday morning it had a bad separation which I “followed through” on and made one larger (somewhere else in the kitchen arsenal) and, one smaller (the ”toast” station). the new one was a Tuesday morning fine and it ended up costing me next to nothing! So, that’s my story. I need to go fire the small Vortex and get some chicken and sweet potatoes on the grill!
8:00- Just used the swing table for a cocktail stand and it will be nice extra “Set that down” space!
