Anybody know if the frames of this more recent Genesis (pic below) will fit my 90's Platinum Series frame? Looking at making a bbq table/cooler holder from a weber frame and need a few pieces....are these universal pieces ..... my current pieces are 96-98 frames I think. Cheers, JA

I think that grill is a 2002 or 2003 genesis gold C.

I think it is the same cookbox as 2000 to 2005 Silvers and 2002 to 2005 golds.

The x000 cookbox won't fit in that frame. The x000 cookboxes are wider.

Lids are interchangeable.

Control panels, manifolds, burners and slide out bottom pans are different.

Kind of a waste not to restore and flip that though. With a quick restore it is worth at least $275 if the cookbox and lid are ok.
