Hello to all. Recently discovered this BBS and have been reading lots of posts. I currently have a Brinkman Cimarron offset smoker. I have been eyeing Rock's Stoker for about a year and finally broke down and purchased one. My first smoke with the Stoker was just this past weekend with dazzling results. The temp did not waver more than 2 degrees during the three hour smoke. I have had differing results without it. I used a lot less lump charcoal than normal. The test chicken was moist and delicious. Sorry, I didn't take a picture and post it prior to consuming said chicken. I believe I will attempt a pork butt in the next couple of weeks. I have had excellent results with baby back ribs with the 2-2-1 method of smoking. As our camping takes a lot of the summer time, I am looking forward to smoking some ribs with Rock's Stoker later in the summer. I did also download the Stokerlog software which made operation of the Stoker a breeze. I look forward to continuing to read and post. For those of you who camp, Safe Travels.

Welcome to the group Bob. I camp all summer....on the back deck...... by the pool. Does that count?
