I have just joined this forum, although I have browsed on it for recipes in the past.
I have a 18.5 WSM which I have had for several years, and just bought a Performer platinum. We just moved down here from NJ, and I left my gas grill for the young couple who bought our house and I have been trying to determine which grill to get. Wife and I go to Lowes day after Xmas, she sees the Copper performer and tells me, that's the one to get. So I did!! Who argues about that?
Put it together, fired it up to clean out any manufacturing chems, and cooked a London broil that night. Tasty!
Now I have two Webers on the back deck.
