Located in Syracuse NY and glad to be here. Found the site searching for info on rebuilding my Weber Silver-B for the 2nd time! It was my 40th birthday present from my wife 24 years ago. I cook on it a lot year round, keep it clean and under a cover. My Weber Silver B is a tank. I also have two B-man can smokers, a stick burning offset smoker w/ mods, just recently gifted my first Weber 22" kettle (a friend had in his garage used twice and was cleaning out). I've been grilling, barbecuing, smoking and messing around with food my entire life. I grew up in a food family, dad was a meat cutter, brother in the restaurant business his entire life and mom was a great cook and baker. From a young age she encouraged all 3 of us kids to be active in her kitchen learning. Thank you mom!
