Hi John! We would have to enamel them in China in order to make them in the classic Weber red. This is due to the US environmental regulations pertaining to the hazardous waste byproduct disposal required. The classic Weber red color requires cadmium in the enamel formula, which is safe once applied, but you end up with hazardous waste byproducts. We'd much rather make our kettles at our Huntley, Illinois factory, but that unfortunately means no classic Weber red kettles.John where are the RED kettles? any size like a 26 would be a dream come true.![]()
Would be grate to see the regular mastertouch colors available on the 26. I know the grey was recently added, but any plans for ocean blue, burnt orange, ivory, etc on the 26? Or even another limited run like the 26 glen blue?Hi John! We would have to enamel them in China in order to make them in the classic Weber red. Sad to say, I just today saw what happened to the price of Ranch Kettles. Yikes! A $700 dollar jump.
Makes the deal I got on my never used one last year even more of a steal, and made things more dangerous for anyone hoping to physically steal it.
See if you can stumble into a used one my friend, or get ready to really do some research on finding an offset of a proper size, construction, and that can be tuned to minimize hotshots. It will be just as if not more pricey. If I had the money, I'd put in an order for a Patriot Pits Freedom 94, but such is lifeThat price jump is insane! I was in the market for one. I'm just going to buy an Offset from a different manufacturer now.
Blue Unicorn for sale. Someone is selling the Ranch in Glen Blue on FB. It's like the one in the video from the Instagram post @Paul Warner posted above.
*Sniff* *sniff* Something smells fishy. Why would a liquidator have one of only two in existence? But you know what they say.... There's one born every minute. From the listing^
I am not a collector, and don't know much about these things. We are an overstock and liquidation business, and I do not know how we were able to get a hold of this, or through which supply chain. Will be cross-promoted on multiple other selling platforms.Because of its rarity and lack of other comparables to determine full value, we are currently accepting offers...There is already a standing $3,000 offer at the time of this posting. We are in no rush at all to sell.
Sadly there are those out there who are willing to defraud honest people. Honestly, if I could I would love to offer them $1 plus a Genuine baseball hand signed by Micky Mantle, Babe Ruth, John Wayne, Rocky Marciano, and Buddy Holly from when they all played on the same baseball team together.Hopefully nothing nefarious. It has a couple of differences from the one in tuffystone the video: no handle on top of lid and a black ash tray instead of glen blue.
