Need advice selling Genesis 1000

Hi,
First-time visitor to the site and seeking some advice. I’m looking to list and sell my grill through local FB marketplace, etc. What’s a price range that I can expect selling this grill to an individual?

That is in great shape. Why you wanna sell? I’d suggest looking on offer up and craigslist in your area to see what they are selling for. In my area I see these going for $100 to $200 if they are in good shape. Under $100 if in rough shape. I’d guess you could sell that for $200 if you found the right buyer.

I’m not a handyman and thought I needed a new grill. Purchased one and then found this site.

Maybe $175-225 as is.

You might get some premium over all the other Genesis grills on Craigslist because of (i) red head, (ii) wood, (iii) 13 bar cook box, and (iv) looks to be intact with no missing parts.

Would be a classic if you shined it up.

It depends on your area, and how eager you are to sell. Is the propane bottle included? Is it full or empty? And you have to find a buyer that appreciates the esoteric value, which is typically the older folks. In my area, with the propane, it would be a slow mover at more than about $125. It's a fairly narrow market in my area, and coal burners seem to be much better sellers here.

EDIT: Right now, within a 50 mile radius, there are two identical grills listed for $50. They have been available for several days now, just waiting for the right person to come along.

In Atlanta you'd be lucky to get $100-125 for that. Would get more with new grates and if you cleaned it up a little bit more
