My version of the WSM door compression latch mod

During my holiday big cook, the handle on the access door broke! 😞 So naturally, I went to TVWBB for ideas. Found all the latch threads. I'm an aerial lift mechanic, and yesterday at work, I was sent a gift from the heavens! Finally... The right series of machine, with the correct size and style compression, came back to the shop with a broken door. Free handle!!! 😃

Not sure if the pics are working right. I had to start using Instagram instead of photobucket. I'll figure it out. I got the adjustment on the latch set right now. I think it'll work out great. Thx.

Looks good, and you work on aerial lifts, like one of these?

If so I thought those latches looked familiar, and your my hero, cause jobs like mine are shut-down when ours break-down.

John... That looks awesome... Super sturdy looking. If a total non-handy, non-mechanically oriented dork like myself were to looke for something like those to buy online, what would a guy look for? Is there a certain name or style that would get me hunting in the righ direction? Any particular industry type of place that sells this kin of stuff?

I'll dig up the part number and post it up here. I used it today and it worked great. I definitely need to put my gaskets on now. One thing I didn't think of, is how hot the handle would be. It's all metal! Lol
