My Genesis is really good at holding stuff for my WSK



Also good at being a back up when I need heat right away. I had this great idea for fajita night on the WSK - I put the charcoal grate in the top position, put my modified (height reduced) vortex in the middle, and thighs all around and CI pan in the middle to do the veggies - didn't work at all. Either didn't preheat the pan enough or the vortex is still a little too talk and the gap between the Vortex and the pan wasn't big enough to allow proper airflow... so I had to put the pan on the Genesis to finish the veggies

Yep, my Genesis II makes great table space also. Especially for hot things.

I use my performer to hold stuff for my E6, and I use my Genesis E330 to hold stuff for the BGE.

In fairness to the gassers, I don't have to juggle piece parts just to cook on them. When I cook on either Genesis, its the only one I need to uncover, the grates stay on the grill and I have side tables to hold things.
