My first steak on a real grill


 
Hi Dan and welcome aboard. Congrats on the new grill, looks like you are off to a great start with it!

Like the others have said, let the steak sit for 30-45 @ room temp, and let that grill preheat for a good 10-15 minutes. Take good care of those CI grates and they will take care of you.
 
Dan, the Steak looks great. A resource that has helped me turn out some quality product is the grill guide on the Weber web site. I reference it just about every time I grill. The second piece of equipment I would recommend is a thermapen. The fear of under cooking or over cooking meat is eliminated.
