Hi!
I was just gifted my friends old 310 Spirit.
Not my first Weber, but my first gas grill, I am excited.
I found this forum and now I am all in for giving it some love and restoring it because it has some rust.
(Have many years of experience restoring cars and electronic equipment)
However It seems like this one is not that far gone yet.
I’ve so far hit it with an oven degreaser and it came out really nice. I also changed the gas hose and regulator.
Tried rescuing the grates and flavorizer bars but they are crispy from rust, so I’ve ordered new, this time stainless steel.
I’ve checked some threads here and got some nice tips, I’ll post back here when I’ve unleashed my tools on this little grill
(I don’t think I will go bananas, I’ll try keeping it within budget, which I probably will not
)
If you have some nice suggestions feel free to share!
Here’s some pics
