got two weber 22.5 kettle any one know what year they are
one black grey with 3 dasiy wheels on the bottom 2 porclien handles

I expect that the date code information provided will be of little help for the black kettle, at least, other than establishing that the kettle was manufactured prior to 1979.

Is the top vent stamped "Pat. 3538906"? That patent was issued on November 10, 1970.

If the legs are secured to the kettle bowl with thumbscrews, your kettle was probably manufactured in the 60's.
