Very nice! I'm a fan of the 18's so I can really appreciate it. Tell me though, why did you choose the 18 over the 22?

Only cook for two, but am keeping an eye out for a good deal on a performer

Wow Steve, you are putting a lot of cash into these grills, I commented on your rebuilt silver B.

I will be selling my silver C and my weber Q to pay for my newly purchased Genesis E-310. This will leave me with the Genesis and Performer, I have a mini Smokey Joe but I would like to still get a lower end kettle that I can put in my van and take with with me, I have thought the 18" is a gimmick but thinking that might be the way to go. Tell me why you like the 18" er.

I like you sell off stuff to fund new projects. I find the 18 big enough for my wife and I. Thinking of a Kamado type but dont think I could sleep at night spending 1K on a grill. I will pull the triger on a performer when a good deal comes up but ci grates alone are a 100 dollar bill for a 22. Any way I enjoy fixing up the old rather than buying new.
