So my dad picked up a standing rib roast on sale for 5.99/lbs and we decided to cook it up for Mother's day. Here's what I used for an injection/marinade.
Injected up!

Bad Byron's Butt Rub (the best!)

On the performer, used hickory for smoke. Cook at around 350°.

About 1hr 45min in. Put some taters on.

After 3hrs 15min, pulled at 133°it


Plated.

Left overs?

Nope!
Standing rib roast is one of my favorites. This one turned out very good and tender, juicy, like heavenly meat!

That had to be very flavorful. and is one of my favorites. Why the mix of Liquid Smoke and real smoke?

I knew I'd get in trouble for that. Just to add another level of flavor to the injection. Didn't use more than a few dashes.
