Yeah I know this is a mess of ribs. Me and the Missus like to eat good and we'll get a couple of meals out of this.

I'm thinking I need a Ranch Kettle so that I can cook in properly copious quantities?

I figure if I get one and do things right I'll only need to cook 2 nights a week?

That leaves one night to mow the lawn and the rest of the 4 to goof off.

I think I might have a new best plan?

I don't know man. We had a discussion about the Ranch in the "For Sale/Deals" section. It isn't exactly cheap, and takes up alot of room. Only you know if you will use it enough to justify the purchase. Would a 22.5 WSM be a better purchase or a 26.5 OTG? Just hate to see you buy a Ranch and find out you bought too much grill.

Dear Board,

I was sort of kidding about the ranch kettle. If I was a cook for about 10 or more people it might make sense but for 2 people it would be a big waste of money. The thing has to use about 1/2 of a bag of charcoal each time you fire it up. That would get mighty expensive quick. I do know I could cook a lot of food at one time though!

My OTG is plenty for the two of us, for now.
