Mom's Day beef rib cook on a kamado

Cool yesterday (mid 40's) and windy as heck, so I went with the Pit Boss kamado for this cook.
A four bone slab of beef chuck short ribs from Creekstone Farms, cut into two bone pieces, and rubbed with Oakridge Santa Maria rub.

Temp spiked while I took a short nap, they were done in about 3 hours.

A bit overdone and crunchy outside, but tasted darn good!

Our son came by after work and stayed for dinner.
He helped his mom put out her plants from the basement, cleaned maple seeds from the gutters, cleared a clogged bath sink drain, and helped put out a bench Jo recently painted.
I bought it at a garage sale several years ago,
