Mistake in the Meat Department

I was getting home late and didn't want to cook but a rotisserie bird sounded good. There were no birds left, so I went through the meat dept & saw a pack of seasoned skirt steak (kroger) and figured I'd pan fry it. Imagine my regret when I had the first bite - too salty & a way off flavor. I put it in a salad to try to salvage it by dilution & NOPE. I could've bought the regular unseasoned stuff just 20' down the rack. Never again :)

I figured that with all the talk on here about "don't get seasoned _ _ _ _ _ " (fill in your choice of meat), you'd know better Clint. Tsk tsk. ;)

Some folks like that stuff, but most of us prefer to do our own. Found some skirts last week for $4.49 lb.
Frose em and planning to make some Arrachera next week.

That sucks Clint, kudos for trying to dilute the salty flavor using the salad idea.
