Mini Chimney for smoking cheese

So I have been wanting to try smoking my own cheese and today I finally had some spare time to do so. I followed the post on vwb (http://virtualweberbullet.com/cheese.html), but couldn't figure out a way to light just 4 briquettes very easily. I ended up taking a soup can, drilling a bunch of holes in it and making my own mini-chimney. I dropped a paper towel drenched in olive oil, dropped in 4 briquettes and 10 minutes later had perfectly lit charcoal.

I smoked my cheddar miniloaf for about 40 minutes with Apple wood pulled it off and it was great. Now that I have my mini-chimney I'll definitely be doing more cheese.

Just thought I would pass along this easy tip. http://twitpic.com/139xlu

I pretty much followed the instructions off the vwb site, so lit 4 coals, put 1 piece of apple wood on it, then just put the block of cheese on the top grate for about 40 minutes.

My post was more to show an easy way to light just 4 briquettes.
