So those of you in the MIlwaukee area where do you purchase your meat? I am going to do my first smoke on Friday 8/12 and am curious of the best place to shop for my meats.

what are you looking for?

pork butts, pork spares and baby backs... Sam's Club. Good meat at good prices.
Avoid Pick N Save pre-packaged baby backs.
Steaks, ribeyes, sirloins, T-bones and Porters, Sendik's have an EXCELLENT butcher case... as does Ray's Butcher Shoppe in Greenfield.
Everything at Ray's is awesome.
There's a Sendiks close to you at Moreland and National.

Hey Jim, I see you are in the semi-fashionable Town of Raymond. I drive through it every day on my way to work down in Racine.

I was hoping to find potentially some type of co-op in the area where large quantities of meat could be purchased.

Sendik's is definitely good and I will have to try out Ray's.
