Midweek Steak Dinner

My wife and I had a date night in the middle of the week. I cooked some 2" strips & veggies.

Steaks with salt, pepper, and garlic.

Steaks on with yukes covered with evoo.

Steaks & potatoes done (smaller one already off), corn on.

My plate.

Poor pictures but great food. The steaks were the best I've had in a while. Thanks for looking.

No, it's the charcoal ring from a Smoke EZ. Enables me to get a great sear.

That is a good idea, love the steaks, well done but my take away here is a good way to sear and cook indirect without stacking on the side.
