Any chance you'd be willing to share the rub recipe? I'd love to try this and been looking for less traditional BBQ recipes. Did any of it actually last for nachos or tacos?
Shane, I'm not sure which rub recipe I used, I didn't save it. If you look at the second picture you can see the ingredients. Google Mexican shredded beef and you will find similar rubs, to be honest I kind of winged it until I like d the taste. We made nachos with it the first day and tacos a couple of days later.
