Mexican fried steak---- basically chicken fried steak smothered in green chile. Green chile was left over from a batch I made the other day for lunch(my secret recipe). Tenderized the cube steak, then dipped in egg then dredge then egg and dredge. Dredge was flour, S&P, garlic powder, and magic dust. Pan fried in my griswold #10 big block with canola oil.
The Spanish rice was just white rice, diced jalapeño, diced onion and salsa simmered in chicken broth. Cooked in my stylized Wagner #8. Of course we made some guacamole and ate it with chips. Tasty and filling meal on a cold night!
