mesquite charcoal


 
Very mild flavor. Not as strong as chunks or chips. Semms to smell very good at first and then burns right out. If you using it for burgers or chicken it's fine. If your smoking no way!
 
It's been a while since I used the Kingsford stuff, but I don't remember being overwhelmed by mesquite flavor. I haven't used this product for smoking, but I get a really nice flavor when grilling from Blackwood Canyon Mesquite lump.
