Memorial Day Weekend Camping

We’re at our favorite campground in Rock Hill, SC for the weekend. I told myself that I would get pics of all of the cooks this weekend!
Pammi cooked breakfast inside, as we got in late Friday afternoon. But lunch was on me! Chicken sliders on Hawaiian sweet rolls with chips!

The Blackstone really did a great job on this.
Dinner was turkey sliders, expertly prepared by Pammi, and hotdogs on the Blackstone. I’m really liking the way that this thing cooks!
We also had baked beans and pasta salad.

And with our grandsons coming down to go to the lake, s’mores for dessert!!

I think he liked it!



Pammi hopped on the griddle this morning for breakfast. Sausage, hash browns, leftover canned biscuits and eggs! She done real good!

Great looking camp grub!! The Blackstone is hand's down the best thing to cook on in camp!! After I the first time I brought my 22" on a trip, both of the dads we were with bought their own the next week. It's not uncommon for us to have at least two of them when we go now!

Tonight is our last night here, and i needed to grill something!
Thick cut pork chop, tater packet and corn on the JJ!
I do need to remember that I don’t need a full chimney’s worth of charcoal for it!
But it was very tasty!!
