Meet George Jetson............

I would love to try that thing.............at low altitude to start, like 6 ft. It looks like a ton of fun!

After watching the video a couple more times, it looks as if the learning curve for control of this machine could be shortened some with less sensitive controls.
And that is before considering the structural deficiency of the "airframe". Wonder how much time, effort and $ he put into building it?

It needs a better control system. With accelerometers and gyros, and the right software, it could be a simple and safe to fly as the more advanced model drones. Controls for up/down, rotate left/right, and forward/back, along with computer-guided stability, would probably make it almost as simple as driving a car.

I guessed ~$1000-$1500 in motors/controllers, not sure the air frame. Probably a lot of time.

Lots of improvements to be made for sure, that's pretty impressive (& ballsy!) so far.

Forget self driving cars - get me one of these :)
