Meat Loaf

Cooked meat loaf on the WSM tonight. Came out great. I'm discovering all kinds of ways to use my WSM!

Meatloaf on the WSM is one of my favorite quicker cooking meals. The next day sammys are great too

How'd you do it?

Minion method with hickory and cherry chunks. Cooked it on a pizza pan with smoker temps about 250-275. Went to take it off at 160 but it didn't look done so I left it on until it was 180. Flavorful and juicy. Sandwiches today were great.

Love doing meatloaf on WSM or OTG, will make severl mini-loafs for leftovers to take to work. I use pecan and apple myself.

What was it about it that made you think it didn't look done? At 180 I'd have thought it was overdone. Just asking. Must have been good if you enjoyed it

Good job, and thanks for reminding me. The wife has been asking for my asian grilled meatloaf. (If anyone wants that recipe I will post it. Along with pics of my cook.)

Interesting, I just whipped-up a meatloaf myself and I'm getting ready to light-up the cooker.

Maybe next time a few hours in the fridge first.
