I am fortunate to live in an area where wildlife are my neighbors. Deer, elk, bear and moose abound as do fox, coyote and many ground critters.

A new mama moose and her baby came by today to show off the little one. I believe this is the first calf for this cow.

This is the bull that hangs around. He not as big as moose in Canada or Maine:

Frank, I love to see wildlife up close. Unfortunately, the moose here in N.S. on the east coast of Canada are almost extinct. Used to see them in the field behind our house growing up but haven’t seen one in years. The white tailed deer carry a brainworm that causes neurological issues and death in moose but does not bother the deer. A majestic being to be sure. Thanks for posting.
